Generally, life as an astrophysicist is boring. Cataloging data. Playing around with theories. Though we do see things from time to time that....invigorate our work.

MY FIRST MURDER
I could hear only two things. My heartbeat and his breathing. I stood over him while he was sleeping in his bed. So peaceful. The gentle inhale and exhale of his breathing soothed me for some reason. He was a white male in his early 30s. His wife and 5 year old daughter were out of town for the weekend. It was the perfect time to kill.
